    Select Korriban on the galaxy map and exit your ship. Bring HK-47 and Carth for optional dialogue.

    Speak with the docking bay guard and pay the docking fee.

    Outside the landing area, a Sith student will question hopefuls. You can intervene, but it's difficult to prevent them from being harmed unless your Persuade skill is high.

    Proceed past the merchant; some Sith will confront you. Choose passive for Light Side Points (LSP) or violent for Dark Side Points (DSP).

    Continue to the Sith Academy entrance and speak with the Sith guard. To gain entry, ask how to become a Sith, and he will direct you to Yuthura Ban in the cantina.

    Before entering the academy, you'll encounter Mekel tormenting other aliens. You can speak to Mekel, but there are no alignment changes. You can then choose to inform the prospective Sith about Mekel's deception (LSP) or tell them to attack the guard (DSP). This must be done before entering the academy.

    For Light Side players, ensure Carth and T3-M4 are in your party. For Dark Side players, party composition doesn't matter for this step.

    Locate Yuthura Ban in the cantina, near the back on the right. Tell her you wish to become a Sith. If she is satisfied with your answers, she will grant you access to the academy.

    If Yuthura initially refuses entry, return towards the Ebon Hawk. A group of Sith who just passed their test will attack you. Loot them for a Sith Medallion and return to Yuthura; she will then allow you into the academy.

    Inside the academy, you will meet Master Uthar. Impress him with your answers to his questions about the Sith to gain prestige and be welcomed to the Dark Side.

    After Uthar's welcome, raid the footlocker in the room you are transported to. Yuthura will stop you and ask for your help in killing Master Uthar. End the conversation quickly.

    Navigate through the academy: go south, then east, then south again. Enter the last room on the path to find Dustil.

    Dark Side Path: Choose the most violent dialogue options to fight Dustil. Carth may disapprove.

    Light Side Path: Select "Calm down, Dustil..." to proceed. Dustil will ask for proof of the Sith's evil. Agree to get it, and he will wait for you. Return to the path, go west, and follow it to Uthar's room. Use T3-M4 to open the door and search the footlockers for a datapad proving the Sith's evil. Return to Dustil and show him the datapad to complete the quest with a happy ending.

    After completing the quest, return to the circular room with Uthar and exit the academy. Go back to the Ebon Hawk.

Carth Companion Quests:

  • Carth!10: Discusses Revan and Malak, with Carth expressing concern about the dark side's influence on you and Bastila.

Juhani Companion Quests:

  • Juhani!6: Juhani is troubled. Be kind to her to learn she grew up on Taris and expresses her anger and frustration.
  • Juhani!7: Juhani continues to discuss her difficult upbringing on Taris. Remain kind to her to hear her thoughts on her perceived weakness. This conversation does not trigger a journal entry.
