Learn how to defeat Brejik and his Vulkars in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. This guide covers strategy, item drops, and post-fight dialogue.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
When Brejik attempts to withdraw the prize, tell him he'd better not be cheating. The announcer will protest, and Brejik will order the Vulkars to attack you.
  2. 2
Prioritize killing the weaker Vulkars before engaging Brejik. Brejik is equipped with an armband, gloves, and a belt that absorb melee attacks, as well as armor that resists blaster shots, making him difficult to defeat early on.
  3. 3
Be aware that Brejik can one-hit kill characters who have saved their levels. To survive, kill the enemy furthest from Brejik first.
  4. 4
Heal if necessary. Once all enemies except Brejik are eliminated, allow Bastila to damage Brejik.
  5. 5
Use grenades on Brejik. While these will also affect Bastila, she cannot die as she is not yet technically in your party. This strategy prevents Brejik from one-hitting you.
  6. 6
If you are struggling, you can run to the northeast corner near the swoop bike.
  7. 7
After defeating Brejik, search his remains to obtain Bastila's double-bladed lightsaber and his equipment.
  8. 8
Bastila will speak with you and recognize you as a Republic operative. There are no light or dark side choices during this dialogue.
  9. 9
You will inform Bastila that Carth Onasi is alive, leading to an apology from her and an instant transport to the apartment.
  10. 10
You will experience a vision of Bastila fighting a Dark Jedi, who tells you, "You cannot win Revan."
  11. 11
Upon arriving at the apartment, Carth and Bastila will argue. Again, there are no light or dark side choices available.
  12. 12
When Bastila asks if something is troubling you, tell her about the vision. She will then identify you as Force-sensitive.
  13. 13
Speak to Bastila again (the initial "Is something troubling you" prompt does not count). She will inquire about your actions since the crash on Taris, summarizing your accomplishments and noting that a Jedi could achieve similar feats through the Force.
  14. 14
When asked further, Bastila will be reluctant to discuss Jedi matters, deeming them the purview of the Jedi Council.
  15. 15
You may then leave the apartment with whomever you choose.
