Walkthrough:

1. Begin by understanding the core gameplay loop: conquering castles and uniting Ransei.
2. Engage in Unification stages, managing your party and planning movements on the map of Japan. Each character has one action per turn, representing one month. A maximum of six characters can be stationed in a castle.
3. Participate in Battle stages when challenging or being challenged by opposing parties. Battles take place on a 2D grid with up to six generals/Pokémon per side.
4. Utilize Warrior Skills, special abilities unique to each character, which can be used once per battle.
5. Leverage Pokémon elemental weaknesses and special abilities, similar to the main series games.
6. Manage Pokémon Energy (willpower to fight), indicated by colored arrows. Low energy can be restored by resting or eating ponigiri.
