Maintaining your army's health is paramount in Pokémon Conquest, and healing items are your primary tool for recovery outside of friendly Warlords or specific facilities. These consumable items can restore HP to your Pokémon, allowing them to endure longer battles and survive critical hits. Understanding the different types of healing items and when to use them can be the difference between victory and defeat.

The most common healing item is the Potion. A standard Potion restores 20 HP to a single Pokémon. While seemingly small, these can be crucial for keeping a Pokémon in the fight during extended skirmishes or for topping off HP between battles. For more significant recovery, the Super Potion restores 50 HP, and the Hyper Potion restores 100 HP. These are invaluable for bringing heavily damaged Pokémon back to full strength, especially before a challenging story battle or a difficult Free Battle.

Beyond direct HP restoration, there are items that cure status conditions. The Antidote cures Poison, the Paralyze Heal cures Paralysis, the Awakening cures Sleep, and the Burn Heal cures Burn. Status conditions can severely hamper a Pokémon's effectiveness. For example, Paralysis halves Speed, making it harder to attack, while Poison and Burn inflict damage each turn. The Full Restore is the ultimate healing item, restoring all HP and curing all status conditions for a single Pokémon. These are rare and expensive, so they should be reserved for critical situations, such as saving a key Pokémon from fainting in a boss battle or immediately after a devastating critical hit. Similarly, the Full Heal cures all status conditions without restoring HP, making it a potent tool against teams that rely heavily on inflicting multiple status ailments.

It's important to manage your inventory effectively. While you can carry a limited number of each item, prioritizing which healing items to stock is key.
