Your guide to Castelia City in Pokémon Black and White! Discover items, points of interest, and how to navigate this massive metropolis to face the gym leader.

Alright, so you've made it to Castelia City! This place is HUGE, seriously, it's the biggest city we've seen in any Pokémon game so far. Think neon signs, docks, even the headquarters for Game Freak itself. It's a real hub of activity, and you'll find plenty of trainers itching for a battle inside its buildings, so keep your eyes peeled and be ready to collect those rewards!

Before we dive into the main quest here, let's get you oriented. The Pokémon Center is super easy to spot, it's straight to your left as you enter the main area, right by the docks. A friendly girl at the counter will chat about Geonet, but mostly you'll want to heal up your team and grab any essential items. Once you're prepped, we'll head for the gym.

The third gym is located up the left-most street. If you imagine the Pokémon Center is on the seafront, there are four alleys leading away from it, and the gym is at the top of the one on the far left. Head up there and try to enter – you'll find Cheren already has his badge. After his little victory lap, the Gym Leader will let you know that Team Plasma has shown up and you need to head to the pier. So, run back down the way you came, almost to the Pokémon Center, and take the route heading downwards from there.

You'll meet up with Bianca, Burgh (the Gym Leader!), and another character. Team Plasma won't be subtle for long, and soon you'll need to follow them! Head back out into the main city area and make your way all the way left again, towards where the gym is.

Believe it or not, Team Plasma has set up shop right across from the Pokémon gym! Head up this street, and you'll see some Plasma grunts blocking the building on the left. Time for a battle!

After you defeat them, follow your friends into the building. Inside, some high-ranking Team Plasma members will give you a bit of a speech, but they'll bail before anything serious happens. Afterward, Iris will give you a Berry, and you're finally free to challenge the gym!
