The Six Sages: Checklists 2

Track down all six Sages in Pokémon Black and White! This guide shows you exactly where to find Rood, Gorm, Ryoku, Bronius, Zinzolin, and Giallo to get your TMs.

Alright, so you've beaten the main story and now you're ready to tackle the post-game challenges in Pokémon Black and White. One of the cool things to do is hunt down the Six Sages. They're scattered all over Unova, and each one will give you a TM if you find them. Let's go over where to find each one!

Sage 1: Rood

First up is Rood. You'll find him chilling at the very end of Route 18. To get there, start on Route 1, use Surf to cross it, then follow Route 17 all the way west to Route 18. He'll be right there at the westernmost point, looking out at the sea. He gives you TM32 Double Team.

Sage 2: Gorm

Next, we're heading to the Dreamyard, which is northeast of Striaton City. Once you're there, go to the top right area. You'll see some stairs leading underground. Head down there, and you'll find some tough trainers with Pokémon around Level 60+. Make your way to the bottom right of that underground room, then head back outside. Gorm will be waiting to ambush you from the trees to the south. He'll give you TM75 Sword Dance.

Sage 3: Ryoku

For Ryoku, you need to go to the bottom level of the Relic Castle. Remember when you were here during the story and Alder took you outside? This time, you can go through the door to the right instead of leaving. You'll have to deal with a Plasma Grunt along the way, and there's a rare Pokémon nearby, so keep an eye out! Ryoku rewards you with TM04 Calm Mind.

Sage 4: Bronius

Bronius is hiding in Chargestone Cave. Enter it from the north, the entrance near Icirrus City. Go down two levels, and then travel as far south as you can in that room. Before you can reach Bronius, you'll have to battle two Plasma Grunts who have Level 60+ Pokémon. After you defeat them, Bronius is yours, and he'll give you TM69 Rock Polish.

Sage 5: Zinzolin

Zinzolin is located in Cold Storage. This is the same place where you found Team Plasma hiding out during the main story. Just head back there, and you'll find him. He'll hand over TM01 Hone Claws.

Sage 6: Giallo

Finally, Giallo. You'll need HM05 Waterfall for this one – you can actually find it near Sage 1 on Route 18. Once you have Waterfall, head to Route 14, preferably from the southern entrance. Use Waterfall to ride upstream, and you'll find Giallo. He'll give you TM08 Bulk Up.
