Hey there! So, you've just finished up in Accumula Town and you're ready to head out. Route 2 is pretty straightforward, mostly just a path to get you to the next town. Don't expect anything too wild here, but there's a chance to snag a rare Audino if you're lucky!

Pokémon You Might Find:

  • Lillipup (50% chance in tall grass)
  • Purrloin (40% chance in tall grass)

  • Later, you'll need Cut to get a Super Potion and a Great Ball, and Strength to find a Rare Candy.
Walkthrough

    As soon as you step outside, you'll get a call from your mum. She'll meet up with you and give you the awesome Running Shoes! Seriously, hold down the B button now – running makes everything so much faster.

    Head up into the tall grass on the left. You'll run into your first trainer here: a Youngster with a Level 7 Patrat.

    Keep heading north along this path. It's pretty linear, so you won't get lost. You'll soon encounter another trainer, a Lass with a Level 7 Purrloin.

    After that, you'll go through some more tall grass to the north. There's another trainer here, a Youngster with a Level 7 Lillipup. You can actually sneak past this one if you're feeling a bit low on health or just want to speed through.

    Just before you reach the next town, you'll meet Bianca! She's a friendly rival who you'll battle a few times. Her team depends on which starter Pokémon you picked:
    • If you picked Tepig, she'll have a Level 7 Snivy.

    If you picked Oshawott, she'll have a Level 7 Tepig.
  7. 7
    If you picked Snivy, she'll have a Level 7 Oshawott.
  8. 8
    She also has a Level 6 Lillipup regardless of your starter.

Once you've shown Bianca what you're made of, just keep heading north to reach your destination. Good job!
