Discover how to find elusive and powerful rare Pokémon like Darmanitan, Musharna, Zorua, Zoroark, and Volcarona in Pokémon Black and White. Your guide to completing your collection!
Alright, so you're looking to snag some of the really special Pokémon in Black and White, huh? Some of these guys are a bit tricky to find, but don't worry, I've got your back. Let's go over where you can track down these rare critters.
Darmanitan
You'll find these Darmanitan statues chilling near the entrance of Relic Castle. They're not actually Darmanitans yet, though! You need to use a Rage Candy Bar on them. The cool thing about these specific ones is that once you get them below half health, they'll activate their Zen Mode, switching into a Fire/Psychic type. Pretty neat, right?
Musharna
Head down to the basement of the Dreamyard. If you go on a Friday, you can find a special Musharna there. What makes it special? It's got the Telepathy ability, which is something you won't find on the wild Musharnas out there. Definitely worth grabbing if you're a collector.
Zorua
This one's a bit of a secret. If you've managed to transfer a Celebi that you got from a Generation 4 event, you can visit the GAME FREAK office on the first floor in Castelia City. There, you'll find a Zorua hiding in disguise. Sneaky!
Zoroark
Zoroark is a master of illusion, making it super hard to track down. But, if you've got a Shiny Raikou, Shiny Entei, or Shiny Suicune from a Generation 4 event, bring it over to Lostlorn Forest (that's east of Nimbasa City). Zoroark will show up there, disguised as one of those Legendary dogs. It's a pretty awesome way to get one.
Volcarona
This one is a serious reward for your efforts. Make your way to the basement of Relic Castle and navigate through the maze until you get near the sage. Right towards the end of that maze, you'll find a Level 70 Volcarona just waiting for you. It's a tough fight, but totally worth it.
