Welcome to Black City, a super unique area that's exclusive to Pokémon Black! Think of it as a living, breathing city that changes based on what you do. The more you visit and interact with people, the more buildings pop up and the more residents it has. It's pretty cool because the trainers here use Pokémon from other regions, which is great for leveling up your own team or earning some serious cash.

But here's the catch: if you ignore Black City and don't chat with the trainers, they'll start packing their bags and leaving. If you take too long to get here after starting the game, you might find a ghost town instead. To keep the city bustling, you can actually invite residents from your friend's White Forest using the Entralink. They'll still hang out in their game, but they'll pop over to yours. If you don't have a friend with White, don't sweat it too much – you can still find battles and rare items elsewhere in the game.
