City of Jurayn

The city of Jurayn serves as the symbolic capital of Naskuot. Upon arrival, players should visit the inn to recruit mercenaries. Zuran is highly recommended for his group-targeting weapon and the invaluable DFup spell. Dan is a more situational recruit, useful for large enemy groups or single-target boss fights. Players can strategically recruit Dan for the second segment of the upcoming dungeon and the boss fight.

In the tavern, observe the dialogue about a rebellion. Afterward, head to the northeast part of town to teach Chezni the Light spirit affinity.

New Spirit: Light (L)

• Chezni Spells: Blowup (FL), BoltS (LL), MGdown (LSp)
• Blowup Notes: A powerful, all-target spell that gambles on hitting enemies. Its accuracy and power increase with Chezni's Fire and Light spirit affinities but never reach 100%.

The equipment shop in Jurayn offers several items. For Midia, the Gauntlet is a strong defensive option, and purchasing two is recommended. Alternatively, pairing one Gauntlet with a Bmg allows her to target enemy groups. For Chezni, the Light ar and Light sh are good investments. Players may need to grind for gold to afford these purchases, especially if buying multiple Gauntlets or dual-wielding shields for Chezni.

After shopping, loot the city. A Light cd can be found in a northwestern house, and a Powermet is located in a house east of the central temple. The Powermet can be equipped on Chezni, though it may reduce speed.

Enter the temple and take the elevator to speak with the mayor. He will task you with entering the underground temple to retrieve power using Sph cr at an idol.

Temple of Jurayn

This dungeon is significantly more challenging than previous areas. Players should not hesitate to return to town if needed. Be aware of enemy resistances: Deatheye and F.Witch are resistant to Fire magic, while Spilit and Lao-Tse are resistant to Light magic. Enemies like Hupman and SusAgent cast BreakS and BreakG, for which there is currently no defense. Using MGdown against large groups is advised due to reflected magic damage.

Exploration:

1. From the elevator, head east to the wall, then south.
2. At the wall, turn west to find a chest containing a Mid bt for Midia.
3. Return north to the elevator and go down the stairs.
4. Head west to the wall, then north to find a chest with a Fl dor.
5. Walk south and ascend the stairs in the southwest corner to find more items.
