Alright, so you're looking to help out Chef Tenno in Levant? He's the guy who kicks off the 'Need: Shark Cartilage' quest, and he hangs out right in the middle of the city, pretty much across from Shopkeeper Suul. Just chat him up and tell him you're willing to help, and he'll ask you to fetch him a Shark Cartilage. Easy enough, right? The tricky part is actually finding the darn things.

These Crescent Sharks you need are swimming around in the region called Abrassar. Now, there's a pretty reliable spot: a valley that's near the Parched Shipwrecks. To get there, you'll want to head northwest from the main entrance to Levant. Keep yourself south of that big place called the Walled Garden until you spot an opening. That opening leads into the valley with the shipwrecks. Once you're in there, make your way to the westernmost part of the valley. You'll see another opening there, which leads into a canyon. That's where you'll find a bunch of Crescent Sharks just waiting to be... well, dealt with.

These sharks aren't too tough, honestly. Their main trick is something called 'Elemental Vulnerability,' which is a fancy way of saying they'll slap you with a debuff that drops your resistances to Ethereal, Decay, Lightning, Frost, and Fire by a whopping 25%. So, watch out for that! Their physical defense isn't anything to write home about, though. Just wail on them with some heavy attacks, and you should be able to take them down without too much trouble. Once you've got that Shark Cartilage, the quest log won't actually update until you bring it back to Chef Tenno. Do that, and you'll be all set!

The good news is, if you ever need to do this again, you can just swing by Chef Tenno's place periodically, and he'll likely have the quest for you again.
