Walkthrough:
- Initial Engagement: Use Balin to target soulless from a distance, requiring two explosions per enemy. Have Balin move in a zig-zag pattern to avoid spears and retreat diagonally after throwing a grenade. After soulless are dealt with, use dwarves to attack ghols and retreat to whittle them down.
- Minefield Setup: Proceed to the bottom of the map to collect satchel charges. Move cautiously eastwards in a tight box formation. When you reach a slope leading to a valley, stop and observe the patrolling soulless army. Let them pass, noting their path. Send 9 regular dwarves in a staggered formation to lay a minefield along the soulless's patrol route and return to safety.
- Minefield Activation: Prepare Balin and speed up time until the soulless approach again. Slow time to normal and detonate the minefield to eliminate as many soulless as possible. If soulless survive, you may need to lay a smaller minefield.
- Equipment Gathering: Stay on the grassy road and continue east to the corner of the map. A soulless guards wight bombs, satchel charges, and ghol blades. Use trees for cover when approaching the soulless, as they have a longer throwing range. Move from tree to tree, then bomb the soulless and retreat behind cover. Be prepared to also fight a ghol located north of the equipment piles.
- The Choice: Safe vs. Direct Approach to the Rock Statue:
