Alright, you've made it back to Tourian! This next part is all about backtracking to grab some goodies before you make your final push. You'll want to be ready for some tricky maneuvers.

    First things first, drop all the way down the shaft you're in. Head right until you reach the room where you fought Mother Brain.

    Once you're in Mother Brain's old stomping grounds, bomb her platform. This will reveal a Super Missile block. Blast it with a Super Missile, and drop down into the room below. You'll find a Power Bomb Tank waiting for you here!

    Now, head back up to Mother Brain's room. This time, go right. You'll find a save room just ahead, so make sure to save your progress.

    From the save room, enter the hallway on your left. Run all the way down this hallway. You'll see a block ahead that you need to break. Before you hit it, make sure to store your Speed Booster charge. As soon as you pass the block, quickly enter the next room.

    In this new room, you'll see a column on your left with two breakable blocks. Space Jump left, aiming to get above that column. Once you're in position, press Up to stop spinning. Fall just a bit so your head is level with the bottom of those two breakable blocks. Now, perform a Shoulder Charge to the left.

    If you timed that Shoulder Charge just right, you'll blast through a bunch of breakable blocks and into the shaft beyond. Keep going, and you'll smash through even more blocks, eventually landing in a small room.

    In this room, shoot away the blocks blocking your path. Then, shoot the floor on your right. Drop down and grab the Missile Tank you'll find there.

    With those treasures secured, head back up the elevator to Crateria. From there, take the nearby elevator down to reach Brinstar.
Tips
  • The Shoulder Charge maneuver to get the Missile Tank can be a bit finicky. Don't get discouraged if you don't nail it on the first try! Just keep practicing the timing and positioning.
  • Make sure you have enough Super Missiles before you attempt to break the Super Missile block.
