Energy Tanks
#01 This energy tank is in plain view in a 1x1 blue room near the top left area of the map. You can get it easily by approaching from the room to your left, or by carefully jumping over a hidden hole in the floor if coming from the other side. If you jump right when standing on the fourth block from the right door, then you should get the tank without any trouble.
#02 This energy tank is found four rooms right of the save room that's closest to Ridley. Roll right and set a bomb by the wall, then drop to the passage below and head right for the energy tank.
#03 This energy tank is found in the same room as the Unknown Item. Simply jump over the statue and shoot the 2x2 block, then continue left through the wall and grab the energy tank.
Missiles
#01 This missile tank is in plain view, midway down the 1x6 shaft on the left side of the map.
#02 This missile tank is really hard to get. Start from the left end of the very long hallway to the right of the map room. Jump the gap and approach the pipe. Jump into the alcove above and shoot the blocks on your right, then run right to the end of the passage. Run back left along the passage as your speed booster activates and store the charge as you break the pair of blocks up ahead. Quickly drop to the ground and run left, then fire a shot before you do a spin jump over the gap. Jump slightly before hitting left to start a shoulder charge into the ramp, then run left into the map room. Shoot the left door open as you continue your run into the next room and break through the ground in there. Drop into the fake lava now and shoot the door open, then run through it as your speed booster kicks in. Continue running in this room and store the charge before you hit the left wall, then jump straight up as you launch to the ceiling. Grab the ledge on your right as you fall and climb into the tunnel, then roll right and hold right to land in the next tunnel. Drop onto the crumbling block to your right and stand up, then jump into the air before it disappears and grip the left tunnel on your way down. Jump right from here and roll into the small tunnel, then drop into the next shaft and stand up as you fall so that you can grip the left alcove on your way down. Fire a missile at the block on your right and climb into that tunnel, then roll right and get ready for some speedy moves. Face right and angle your gun down, then leap into the air and fire a bunch of shots. Quickly roll into a ball and roll right through the lower tunnel until the ground starts crumbling below you, then hold left until you finally grab the missile tank. Make sure you don't hold left after getting the tank or you'll have to do a lot of this over again when trying to get missile tank #03 below.
#03 This tricky missile tank is found in the same room as missile tank #02 above, and you get it right after getting that tank. From the end of missile tank #02: Roll right unto the middle block that crumbles slower than the others, then quickly use the gap above to stand up and hold left or right so that you grab onto the ledge when the block disappears. You should be hanging on one of the ledges right now, so press the opposite direction to where you are hanging. Tap up to aim your gun in that direction before firing a shot, then fire a single missile at the block that your basic shots didn't get rid of. Make a note of what ledge you're hanging off of and jump the opposite way to grab the ledge above. Pull yourself up into the tunnel and take a breath as the blocks reappear below you, then drop onto those blocks and fire one basic shot and three missiles straight up. Jump up to the ledge and tunnel above you and wait for the nearby blocks to reappear, then jump up to the waiting missile tank.
#04 This missile tank is really easy to get, it's near the middle of the very long hallway that's to the right of the map room in plain view.
#05 This missile tank is extremely hard to get. Start midway down, just right of a diving bird enemy, the long 13x1 hallway beside the map room. Shoot the ceiling here and jump into the passage above. Run right as your speed booster kicks in and start firing ahead of you to break a pair of blocks, then store the charge before you reach the blocks. Quickly drop to the ground and do a spinning jump over the gap as you shoot the door and run into the next room. Run down the larger ramp and do a shoulder charge right into the tiny ramp of the save room platform to continue your fully-charged run, then shoot the next door open as you run through it. Quickly store the charge in the next room and do a series of three spinning jumps to get over the red wall, onto the ledge above you and then onto the small ledge on your right with the orange enemy circling it. Now quickly do a shoulder charge right through the wall and catch your breath for a moment. This just gets you to the right room; you still need to get the missiles from inside the room. Get as far left on this ledge as you can and start running right as you shoot the door open. Continue running in the next room as your speed booster activates, then store the charge before you hit the wall. Quickly roll...
