    You'll start off needing to use your Morph Ball. Roll under that low wall you had to jump over earlier. Keep heading right, blasting any enemies that get in your way. Look for a blue door on your right – shoot it open and head through.

    Once you're in the next room, shoot the ledge directly in front of you. Take out the enemy there, then go through the door that's up ahead.

    As you step forward, you'll notice some bat-like enemies hanging from the ceiling. These guys will drop down and explode if you get too close. The easiest way to deal with them is to just run right under them without stopping. If you're feeling brave, you can also try shooting them from below, but running is usually safer.

    Head to the wall on your right and use your Morph Ball to roll through. You'll find your very first Chozo Statue! It's got a flashing blue light. Jump into its hands.

    The statue will glow, show you a nearby location on your map, and then recharge your energy. Once it's done, it'll sit down.

    Since the statue isn't holding you anymore, jump over it and go through the door to your right.

    This next room doesn't have anything you can do right now, so just head right through the next door.

    And here we are – your first Save Room! Step onto the platform and press [A] to save your game. Phew, good job!
