Follow this Metroid: Zero Mission walkthrough to navigate the Speed Booster challenges, find hidden items, and progress through Brinstar.
Walkthrough
- 1Roll into the statue's hands to restore energy and missiles. Walk left beneath the statue.
- 2Run right to activate the Speed Booster and continue running to the top of the hill in the larger room ahead.
- 3Open the door in front of you but do not enter. Run all the way down the hill, turn around, and run back up to activate the Speed Booster.
- 4Continue running through the open door, blasting through a wall in the next room.
- 5Jump up to the beetles above, freeze them to use as platforms, and shoot out 3-block sections of the blue wall to progress.
- 6Wait for the blocks to reform, shoot out another three in a row, and reach the first door on your left. Enter it.
- 7Run into the next room and use the Speed Booster to blast through spawning enemies. Jump across platforms to the other side of the acid.
- 8Crouch and shoot the left wall to find a Missile Tank. Roll left to collect it and return to the shaft.
- 9Jump up the platforms and use the save room on your right. Return to the shaft and take the left door.
- 10Jump onto the platform and face right as you ride the zipline. Fire missiles to eliminate the swarm of enemies.
- 11Shoot the block on your left once you land safely, roll through the tunnel, and use a bomb before heading through the door.
- 12Climb up the shaft (wall jumps can save time). Use a missile to get through the red door on your right.
- 13Start running as the Speed Booster activates, destroying enemies. Continue across crumbling blocks and jump off the last one.
- 14Fly through the air and break blocks at the other end of the room. Shoot the switch above you and roll into a ball to grab the nearby Energy Tank.
- 15Bomb your way out of the hole and ride the zipline back left. Go back through the door to the shaft.
- 16Use the save room above you, then take the elevator up to Brinstar.
Tips
