Stats / Weaknesses:

• Ridley (First Encounter): Weak to Missiles and Super Missiles.
• Mecha Ridley: Weak to Super Missiles.

Phases:

1. Ridley (Planet Zebes): Ridley will fly around the arena, breathing fire and swiping with his tail. He can also charge across the screen.
2. Mecha Ridley (Space Pirate Mother Ship): This robotic version of Ridley has similar attack patterns, including fire breath, tail swipes, and charges. It may also deploy smaller drones.

Strategy:

• Ridley (First Encounter): Stay mobile and dodge his fire breath and charges. When he pauses, hit him with Missiles or Super Missiles. The Super Missiles are most effective.
• Mecha Ridley: This fight is similar to the first, but Mecha Ridley is more aggressive. Use the Super Missiles whenever you have an opening. Prioritize dodging his attacks to conserve energy. If you have the Grapple Beam, it can sometimes stun him briefly.
