Nosalises

Learn about the different Nosalis encountered in Metro 2033, including their types, behaviors, and weaknesses.

Nosalis are underground mutants, often called snouts, that resemble human-sized rats. There are three primary types: a common hairless variety, a tougher, muscular, and hairy type, and a winged variant that attacks with a sonic scream.

A fourth type of Nosalis is encountered specifically around D6 in the original Metro 2033. This nocturnal mutant possesses glowing eyes and armored plates, resembling a bipedal turtle. It is sensitive to light and can be temporarily repelled by a flashlight. This armored Nosalis attacks using hit-and-run tactics, similar to a lurker, and hides in vents and holes.
