First up, we have the Scrooge achievement. The goal here is to save up a hefty amount of military-grade rounds. In the original game, it's 500 rounds, but in the Redux version, they bumped it up to 1,000. Don't stress too much about this one; it's pretty manageable. By the time you reach the Armory, you should already have around 750 bullets. Even after you splurge on the Hellbreath weapon there, you'll naturally accumulate the remaining 1,000 rounds a few levels later. If you want to be absolutely sure, you can find roughly 681 bullets in D6 and at least 315 in Tower, which puts you right at 996. The easiest way to manage this is to keep an eye on your ammo count and avoid spending those valuable military-grade rounds unless absolutely necessary. You can always exchange other ammo types at a station to boost your military-grade stash if you're falling short.

Next, there's Wheeler-dealer. This achievement is all about making deals at exchange kiosks. You need to exchange 500 Military-Grade 5.45 rounds. The best spot for this is usually Polis Station. The strategy is simple: sell off all your regular ammo to get as many Military-Grade rounds as possible. Then, use those rounds to buy other items like arrows or shotgun shells. Once you've bought something, sell it back to the kiosk to get Military-Grade rounds. Keep repeating this process – sell ammo, buy items, sell items for military-grade rounds – until the achievement pops. You might run out of regular ammo to sell or simply hit the achievement threshold.

For the Metro Trader achievement, the original game asks you to make 10 deals in weapon shops. Now, the description mentions weapon shops, but it seems like buying any item counts. The cheapest things you can grab are Medkits, filters, and throwing knives, which typically cost around 10 bullets each. Just a heads-up, Medkits and Throwing Knives have a limit on how many you can carry. Filters are a bit more flexible; you can buy a ton, but after a certain point, they won't add any extra time to your mask's duration. So, focus on picking up a few of these cheaper items to rack up those deals.

In the Redux version, the Metro Trader achievement got a bit more demanding. You now need to make 30 deals specifically at a weapons merchant. Unfortunately, medical supplies and secondary weapons no longer count towards this achievement. To make this easier, try to get this done at Hole Station before you head into the Outpost mission. Polis Station only has a couple of weapons available, so Hole Station is your best bet for more frequent transactions.
