Master the final boss fight against Liquid Snake, Liquid Ocelot, Revolver Ocelot, and Geriatric Ocelot in Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2. Learn strategies for each phase.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
    Round One: Liquid Snake
This fight mirrors the original Metal Gear Solid encounter. Liquid Snake uses a normal punching combo (R1) and a stronger punch (hold L1, press R1). Holding L1 also blocks weaker punches. Avoid his charge, then strike with a strong punch. Use ship columns for cover. If too close, use the regular combo to prevent his attacks and land hits.
  2. 2
    Round Two: Liquid Ocelot
Liquid Ocelot is the most difficult form, featuring a devastating lunging punch. He telegraphs this attack by shouting, "Take this!". When he winds up, dodge or back away, then charge in for a strong punch after he finishes. Focus on defense and only attack when he's open.
  3. 3
    Round Three: Revolver Ocelot
Ocelot uses CQC, including an unblockable combo ending in a head smash. Most of his attacks do minimal damage, but watch out for his headlock. Abandon the strong punch as it's too slow and can be countered. Be aggressive, stay close, and use Snake's weak punching combo (R1). Finish combos with Triangle for an animated CQC attack.
  4. 4
    Round Four: Geriatric Ocelot
This is less of a fight and more of a formality. Both characters move slowly. Get close and press R1 for a cinematic punch. Ocelot will also attack slowly. It takes about five hits to finish this phase.
Tips
  • In Round One, use the ship's columns for cover against Liquid's charges.
  • In Round Two, patience is key. Wait for Ocelot to finish his lunging punch before attacking.
  • In Round Three, use Snake's CQC abilities and don't rely on the slow strong punch.
  • In Round Four, simply get close and attack; there's no need for complex maneuvers.
