Part 23

Follow soldiers until they reach a white truck near a side street with three soldiers. Wait for the resistance member to join them.

When the group heads west towards a white van, follow the resistance member as he crosses the street into an alley.

Lie prone in the alley as a patrol car passes; you will be hunted if detected.

Crawl along the sidewalk after the vehicle passes, stopping for other vehicles, until the resistance member enters a dead end.

Follow him to resistance headquarters to end the sequence.

003.3 - Solid Normal, Naked Normal, Liquid Easy: On lower difficulties, the route is easier with fewer soldiers and vehicles.

003.31 - Midtown South Sector: Walk down the street until a cinematic shows a suspicious character (your resistance member).

Hide behind a parked van and wait for him to cross the street heading east.

Track him as he continues east to the edge of the city and turns north.

When he heads west and encounters a soldier, stay behind a building. He will turn around and find another route.

Watch him run past you, down the next street south, and up stairs.

Follow him as he jumps onto a roof, heads west, and climbs down a ladder. Wait at the top until he moves away from a patrolling soldier.

Follow him north, up stairs, and into the park.

Hide behind the east statue as he walks north.

After encountering PMC resistance, he runs south, then stops by the west statue.

He heads north again, climbs over a grassy hill, and throws a grenade, causing a caution.

After the caution ends, he runs down the street and hides in a stairway as a patrol vehicle passes. Lie prone by the wall to avoid detection.

Tail the resistance member north to the next area.

003.32 - Midtown Northeast Sector: Turn left and head west to find the resistance member behind a mailbox near a crosswalk.

Wait for him to cross the street and turn the corner, then sneak after him, staying close to building walls to avoid a helicopter searchlight.

Catch up to him as he stops to check if the coast is clear.

Sit by the car to the south as he heads north. He kicks a can, alerting two guards who arrest him.

Warning: You must rescue him. Use your Mk.2 tranquilizer gun to quickly knock out the two PMCs before they get anywhere. Two tranquilizer rounds are sufficient.

The resistance member will either run up stairs or return to the main area and be caught again. If caught again, do not bother saving him as another will replace him.

Follow the resistance member northwest to the next area.

003.33 - Midtown North Sector: Hang back by dumpsters as the resistance member enters a courtyard on the west side of the alley. He will reemerge in a green PMC uniform.
