Walkthrough
- 1Crawl through the streets, being mindful of an explosive barrel near a wrecked car. Destroy it beforehand or back away when stray bullets hit it to avoid incineration.
- 2Enter the building at the end of the street, which is the Advent Palace.
- 3Use the Solid Eye (a visual enhancement) to spot claymore mines and sleeping gas bombs planted around the four floors, especially on the stairs.
- 4Crawl to pick up the traps or use the MK.II (a remote-controlled drone) to disarm them.
- 5Explore the Palace for various items, including ammo, health items, and a new iPod song. Collect the sleeping gas mines for later use.

- 17A stun grenade will knock out Akiba. Crouch near him and press the action button to wake him up.
- 18After Johnny is awake and enemies are cleared, follow the team through the broken wall. Johnny will disarm the laser trap.
- 19Follow the team down to the first floor and stand in a doorway behind the bar.
- 20A tank will burst through the wall, followed by numerous Haven Troopers. Use the bar for cover and eliminate them.
- 21Meryl will leave you to finish off the remaining few enemies. Clear the area and follow her to the elevator.
- 22A cutscene will play as the team descends the elevator shaft. Follow them into the final area.
- 23Another cutscene shows the Rat Patrol eliminating an ambush. Meryl will explain more about nanomachines and give Snake the location of...
