To get the director's office key, go behind the front desk and climb onto the small stand behind the clerk. Wiggle or side roll to drop past the stand, then retrieve the key. Return over the stand the same way.

Talk to the front desk clerk, then go up the stairs to the fourth floor.

Enter the director's office on the left. Plant the bomb; the gangster inside will ignore Tommy.

Exit the office, go through the door, and head toward the window at the far end of the hall.

Stealth with a Baseball Bat: Obtain a Baseball bat from a motorist on the way to the Corleone Hotel.

Use the Baseball bat through the windows of the front hall doors to knock out the two door guards.

Ignore the front desk clerk and proceed to the second dining room to knock out the manager (in a white suit).

Cross the room and knock out the seated bodyguard.

Return to the first dining room and knock out the sailor dancing with a prostitute to prevent him from attacking Tommy with an S&W Model 10 M&P.

Go back to the front lobby and knock out the front desk clerk to get the director's office key.

Go to the second floor and knock out the gangster in the waiting room.

Go to the third floor and knock out the gangster walking around. Skip the conversation with the prostitute.

Go to the fourth floor, enter the short hall on the right, and go to the director's office on the left. Plant the bomb (the gangster inside will ignore him).

Run back through the wooden door toward the window at the far end of the hall.

Escape via Rooftops: After the cutscene (a cutscene is a non-interactive sequence that advances the story), Tommy is on a rooftop.

Option 1: A lot of shoot-outs: Go right, get on the ledge, go over the ledge and up the fire escape. Go right over the fire escape ramp, through the gray door, up the stairs, through another gray door, onto a ledge, then a higher ledge. Continue onto a small rectangular roof, then a wide ledge on the far left. Make a running jump to the lower roof ahead. Traverse diagonally across the roof, onto a ledge, jump down to box-like structures, then onto a roof. Go left onto box-like structures, down to a lower roof. Go clockwise around a roof structure and use the edge of a wall on the left for cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects), or get onto the box-like structure with smoke stacks. Shoot the five policemen armed with Colt Detective Specials and one armed with a U.S. Rifle M1903 Springfield on the roof below. Tommy may need to go down to the roof to shoot one near the far side of the box-like structure. Get on the lower roof those policemen were on.

Two policemen (one with a Colt Detective Special, the other with an S&W Model 10 M&P) may appear above the roof ledge high up to the left. To kill them:

Go to the spot where the policeman with a rifle was, and toward them enough that the roof ledge acts as cover. Shoot them when the tops of their heads appear.

Go left, get on the wooden scaffolding, and go up to the roof to shoot them.

Further options for dealing with policemen on the first fire escape:

Shoot the five policemen climbing up from below and the policeman with a Thompson 1928 on the street.

Go left at the top of the fire escape to shoot the policemen.

Option 2: One shoot-out: Go to the far right corner of the roof, get on the ledge, make a running jump to the ledge of the nearby building, and go left on the ledge. At the corner with projections and narrow ledges, face the building and continue.
