Gathering Shards and Allies on Pop Star: Kirby, with the help of Ribbon from Ripple Star, embarks on a journey to collect the Crystal Shards. He travels to different planets, recruiting allies like Adeleine, Waddle Dee, and Meta Knight along the way. Each ally helps Kirby in unique ways to overcome obstacles and defeat enemies.

Searching through the Cosmos: Kirby and his companions visit several distinct planets, each with its own environment and challenges. These planets include Rock Star, Aqua Star, Ground Star, and Sky Star. On each planet, they must find the Crystal Shards while battling Dark Matter's minions and overcoming environmental hazards.

Final Battle: After collecting all the Crystal Shards, Kirby confronts Dark Matter. The final confrontation takes place on Dark Star, Dark Matter's home planet. Kirby must defeat Dark Matter in a series of challenging boss battles, utilizing his combined Copy Abilities to overcome the entity's powerful attacks.

Ending: Upon defeating Dark Matter, Kirby restores peace to Ripple Star and the surrounding galaxies. The game features a true ending where Kirby and his friends celebrate their victory, and the Crystal Shards are returned to their rightful place.
