Complete walkthrough for Final Fantasy II's final confrontation with the Emperor, including steps to reach the Cyclone, obtain the Blood Sword, and defeat the Emperor.

This section details the monsters Bolt Fish, Sea Dragon, and Manta Ray, including their stats and weaknesses.

The time has come to bring the fight to the Emperor. Even with the Ultima Tome unleashed (and hopefully put on a character), the Emperor is still a threat to the world. Reaching the Emperor will be no picnic, but that's just another day of being a hero, isn't it? Remember to rest and restock before heading out. At any rate ... is that a giant cyclone outside of Fynn???

Here's the outline of what events will occur in this section:

1. Return to Castle Fynn and learn about the Cyclone outside
2. GET THE BLOOD SWORD FROM PAUL'S HOUSE!!!!
3. Enter the Cyclone and fight the Emperor inside
4. Return to Castle Fynn and learn about the "new" Emperor
5. Retrieve Cid's airship and use it to break into Palamecia
6. Face off against the new Emperor and return to Castle Fynn
7. Make your way through the Jade Passage and into Pandaemonium
8. Defeat the Emperor and watch the ending

If you really don't know where Fynn or Castle Fynn are by now ... use the map.

I recommend you go back to Fynn to rest and restock. Chances are that the Mysidian Tower left you drained and weakened. It's also a good spot to get rid of old equipment and purchase valuable Ethers and Elixers.

Once you're good to go, head into Castle Fynn. Talk to the first guard inside and you'll learn that the cyclone outside Fynn belongs to the Emperor. Hey! It also seems that Leila survived the Leviathan scare. Talk to Hilda or Gordon and LEARN about the CYCLONE. You can't get inside via the ground, so you'll have to sprout wings and fly to your destination. Luckily for you, there's a set of wings around. Remember the mirror I told you to remember earlier? Go back to it, it's time to sprout some wings. :)

In case you forgot where it is, go back to the first floor. In the southwest corner, you'll find a set of stairs. Follow the stairs and go up two floors. When you're faced with an eastern or northern path, take the northern path and keep going forward until you reach a mirror.

Show the PENDANT to the mirror and the last WYVERN will soar towards Fynn! Now you can reach the Cyclone! Whoa there cowboy! Before you go all flying headfirst into that thing, pay Paul a visit (his house is in the southwest corner of Fynn) and ASK hi
