'Artifacts' (z-A) are unique, legendary items created by dwarves in a 'Fey Mood'. These items are incredibly valuable, often made from exotic materials, and possess unique descriptions. They are the ultimate expression of dwarven craftsmanship and a source of immense pride. 'Treasures' also include rare gems, precious metals, and unique items found in the caverns or plundered from enemies. Protecting these valuable items from thieves and invaders is a constant challenge.
