Discover all the hidden treasures and valuable items scattered throughout Neos in Dragon Quest VIII. Get the best gear and complete Cameron's Codex!

Alright, so you've made it to Neos, the holy land! It's a bit of a pricey place, and the folks here aren't exactly the friendliest, especially with Abbot Marcello and the Templar Knights around. But hey, there's some good loot to be had if you know where to look!

First things first, head towards the back wall. You'll see a massive Giant Goddess Statue. Make sure you snap a picture of it for your 073: Holy Isle entry in Cameron's Codex. Don't skip this, it's missable!

Now, let's talk shops and goodies. The Inn is right there. Pop inside and smash some pots – you might find a Seed of Magic. After that, exit the Inn and go into the building directly behind it. On the left side, there are some pots containing 16G and a Chimaera Wing. To the right, break the barrels for some Holy Water. Head up the ladder to the second floor and check the wall sack; you'll snag some Scholar’s Specs.

Next up, the Templars’ Quarters, located just behind the building you were just in. There's nothing really worth grabbing upstairs, so head down to the big room on the main floor. Rummage through the drawers, and you should find a Gold Rosary.

Now, make your way over to the Guards’ Quarters on the east side of town. Inside, check the wall sack – it's got 80G for you.

The last spot for treasure hunting is the building just south of the Guards’ Quarters. Inside, check the wall sack for some Spicy Cheese. Then, smash the jars nearby to get a Moonwort Bulb. Finally, open the chest in this room to find a Seed of Skill.

And that's all the loot Neos has to offer. Unfortunately, you can't get into the chapel itself, but you've grabbed some great items!
