Navigate the Royal Chapel in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Overcome spike traps, grates, and green doors to find valuable items like the Silver Ring and Mystic Pendant.
In the Royal Chapel, our objective is to explore two previously inaccessible areas. Upon opening the map, you'll notice a grayed-out long hallway and a room with long stairs below it. The ceiling of this latter room needs to be explored, as it contains a useful accessory. For now, proceed to the grayed-out hallway.
Upon entering this hallway, your path will be blocked by spikes. Previously, there was no way to interact with this room, but now, with the Spike Breaker armor equipped, you can break through. Next, a grate blocks your path, but the Mist Relic allows you to pass through. Continue forward until you encounter a green/blue door. This door can be opened using the Jewel of Open, acquired earlier in the game. Passing through this door leads you to Maria.
After speaking with Maria, collect the Silver Ring, which is essential for the storyline. Your next objective is to explore the grayed-out area below the hallway you just traversed.
Upon entering this room, you will be at the top of the stairs. The Leap Stone and Bat Relic grant you access to this part of the castle. Several items are located in pots on platforms that require flight to reach.
The items found in the upper part of this room include: Morningstar, Boomerang, TNT, Ankh of Life, Shuriken, Magic Missile, and Mystic Pendant.
It is recommended to equip the Mystic Pendant, as it increases magic meter regeneration. The Ankh of Life is beneficial if you use the faerie familiar, as it enhances potion healing. However, it's generally advised to equip the Moonstone and Mystic Pendant.
With exploration complete in the Royal Chapel, exit the area. You should find yourself at the bottom of the stairs in the room where you gained map coverage. Drop down to the area below, where the red door and save room are located. Proceed through the red door to enter the Marble Gallery.
