Follow our Atomfall guide to find Mother Jago's Herbalism Book in the Old Mine and Casterfell Woods castle, and complete her questline for unique rewards.
Walkthrough
- 1Finding Mother Jago: Mother Jago is located in the Old Mine at 27.2E, 92.2N, northeast of Casterfell Woods. You'll get the quest to find her book after speaking with her, triggered by a woman at the Bakery in Wyndham Village asking for a tonic.
- 2Locating the Herbalism Book: The book is in a castle at the southwest edge of Casterfell Woods. Sneak or fight past druids to enter. Use a bow if possible, as druids use arrows and ammo is found inside. Enemies may respawn after loading saves.
- 3Inside the Castle: Navigate to the feast hall, dealing with patrolling druids. Find the Castle key in a room to the left of the feast hall to access a hidden entrance.
- 4The Workshop: Open the hidden entrance and go right to find a herbalist's workshop. Here you'll find the Strange Tonic recipe, spores, and Mother Jago's Herbalism book. Save inventory space for the book.
- 5Optional: The High Priestess: After getting the book, you can proceed deeper into the caves to find the High Priestess. She guards an Atomic Battery near a pit of electronic parts and offers an exit behind her pulpit.
- 6Returning to Mother Jago: Bring the book back to Mother Jago. She will ask about your understanding of the druids and infection. Being open to her ideas yields an Offering that makes druids neutral.
- 7The Offering: Take the Offering to the Speaking Cave near the Sewer Tunnels and place it in the bowl under the idol.
