Tutorial: How To Reach Astra Shelter

Follow this Tower of Fantasy walkthrough to learn how to defeat Aberrant Canines, pass a QTE, and open an elemental door on your way to Astra Shelter.

Alright, so you've just booted up Tower of Fantasy and the first thing you gotta do is clear out some pesky wolf-like critters called Aberrant Canines. They're right in your path through these mines, and honestly, they're just here to teach you the ropes of combat. You'll get the hang of using your weapon skills to land some solid hits on 'em. Don't sweat it, they're super weak, basically just a warm-up. Once they're down, just keep moving forward through the mine. You'll see a wall to climb up – do that, and there's a chest waiting for you at the top. Score!

Keep following the path deeper into the mine, and you'll hit a Quick Time Event (QTE). This is where you'll need to react to a two-headed dog's movements to avoid taking damage. It sounds intense, but it's pretty chill. Just watch what pops up on your screen and hit the buttons accordingly. The timing is really forgiving, so no need to panic. Just follow the on-screen prompts, and you'll be through it in no time.

After you nail that QTE, you'll find yourself in another section of the mines. It's a straight shot from here until you reach a weird triangular door. To get through, you'll need to use an elemental weapon to hit the mechanisms on the door. Once you zap those, it'll open up, letting you into a new area.

This next spot has three more Aberrants waiting for you. Again, they're not too tough, and your weapon's got that nice area-of-effect slash, so you should be able to handle them even if they swarm you. You might only end up fighting one or two at a time, especially since one of them is a bit further ahead. A few more Aberrant Canines will also show up, but like we said, these guys are squishy. You'll be fine, especially if you remember to use those elemental attacks! Before you bounce, make sure to grab the loot from the chest sitting on a box near the exit. Then, just follow the path out. That's where you'll get scooped up by some mysterious folks and taken to Astra Shelter. Easy peasy!
