All Outer Islands List of Targets

This guide covers the completion of targets in the Outer Islands of Tower of Fantasy, which involves several multi-step objectives and rare spawns.

Firefly Puzzle

To begin, you need to obtain three Rapid Repair Devices by completing firefly puzzles in specific locations:

• Device 1: East of Black Tooth Isle, north of Mysterious Tetriso Ruins. In a sphere-shaped building, collect three fireflies from small ships, then light three lanterns on the large ship to reveal a Black Nucleus containing the device.
• Device 2: East of the Island of Pins. Similar to Device 1, find the sphere-shaped building, collect fireflies, light lanterns around the large ship, and collect the Black Nucleus with the device.
• Device 3: Sea southwest of Stranded Remains Island. Again, collect fireflies around small ships, light lanterns on the large ship, and collect the Black Nucleus and device.

Repairing the Power Supply Facility

Once you have the three Rapid Repair Devices, head to the Power Supply Facility (Tent) east of the Deserted Water Treatment Plant in the Stone Mountain area. You will also need a Tool set, which can be purchased from the Crystal Dust store. Interact with the power supply with all required items to fix it.

The Aberrants

After fixing the Power Supply, you need an Institute Keycard, which drops randomly from three Aberrants: Angry, Bohemian, and Lazy. These are rare spawns at Battle Transmission Portals scattered across the map. The Keycard drop is not guaranteed, so farming may be required.

Any of the Aberrants can appear at the Battle Transmission Gates scattered around the Outer Islands. If you can’t find any, try changing the channel.

North Gemini Island

With the Keycard, interact with the large apparatus behind the repaired tent to teleport to North Gemini Island. Climb to the mountain's peak to find a Gold Nucleus and a Data Pad. Interact with the Data Pad. Then, jump towards the large teleporter to the south/southeast and go through it.

South Gemini Island

You will arrive on South Gemini Island. Interact with the small black data pad on the floor to your left (reduce texture and vegetation detail if hard to spot). Head southeast to the central island. Climb the mountain, using your jetpack or other relics to navigate the thorny roots. At the top, collect the Permission Card: Tyrone from an empty container.

Return to the island you originally landed on (north) and take the blue portal near the cliff edge. This leads to the eastern island of the North Gemini Islands. Head west, glide to the central island, and climb to the top. Interact with the large apparatus in the middle and use your Permission Card: Tyrone on it.
