Walkthrough
- 1In the kitchen, a chest contains 50 GOLD.
- 2Locate the important guard patrolling this floor and take the SCRIPTURE ROOM KEY [OBJ 6].
- 3Proceed to the lift in the south-east and walk along the south corridor.
- 4Opposite the fireplace, you'll pass a storage closet. To the left of the inner door frame, find and pull a hidden lever to open a panel behind you. Use the lever inside to disable the Wall Safe Alarm.
- 5In the south-west corner of this floor, you'll find two locked doors. Use the SCRIPTURE ROOM KEY to open them. One room is empty, but the other contains a duplicate KEY, a Healing Potion in a chest, and a SAFE.
- 6Pick the SAFE to find Karras's SCRIPTURE OF THE MASTER BUILDER [OBJ 6]. Taking it spawns a mini-Servant that will alert the kitchen.
- 7In a small bedroom off the west corridor, find Carslysle. The bookcase has the Carslysle Armory Key on top.
- 8In the corridor, activate the face of a statue to your right to press a hidden button, opening a wall panel. Inside, find a gas arrow, a mine, a Speed Potion, and a Healing Potion [SECRET #7].
- 9The next bedroom to the north contains a nobleman with a PURSE OF 5 GOLD (2282/300/145|2728) [PP 20].
- 10Draw away the guard in front of Karras's OFFICE with a noisemaker (he has a reinforced helmet and cannot be blackjacked).
- 11Use the OFFICE KEY to open the OFFICE DOORS. Listen to Karras's message and press the button behind the desk to open the PAINTING.
- 12Take the MECHANIST SCHEMATICS from inside [OBJ 5].
- 13Escape: If you disabled the Wall Safe Alarm, you can sneak out. Otherwise, prepare for a swift egress.
- 14Escape via ventilation holes or the open window on the north-east of the 4th Floor, which leads back to the hatch into the tower. Be cautious of the fall if you don't have a Slow-fall Potion.
- 15A crossbow-woman is on the first roof, and another is west of Lady Louisa's Suite window.
- 16Move to the Dayport Trader's Bank, turn west, mantle off the wooden platform onto the sloping roof.
- 17Take a shortcut south and drop next to the ladder to the Shemenov Estate. Go through the window into the Stargazer's Loft.
- 18Exit into the house leading west, back to the argument between Willey's and van Vernon's archers. Move close to trigger it.
- 19To find the last four pickpockets, use your Invisibility Potions. Grab one pair [PP 21, 22], then the other [PP 23, 24]. This may require quickloads.
- 20In the small attic west of the van Vernon archers, down the ladder, find a GOLD CUP (2307/300/145|2753).
- 21In a small room west of Willey's, open the windows to find a PURSE OF 100 GOLD (2407/300/145|2853).
- 22Run south-east back to the Bell Tower, past one last crossbow-woman. Approach the BELL TOWER to complete the mission [OBJ 1, 8, 9].
Tips
- The 'mech cherub' is a unique creature with an unexplained presence and behavior.
- If you missed the sunburst device, the Carslysle Armory Key can be used to access the Armory.
- The voice machine message in Karras's office is not one of the six objective-related ones.
- The window escape is risky without a Slow-fall Potion.
