    From the First floor, you can return via the fireplace in Truart's Office.

    Use the SECURE RECORDS KEY to open SECURE RECORDS.

    Locate the BOOK containing the VAULT SECURITY CODE: 4026.

Mission 4: Ambush! Details

Objectives:

  • Escape the ambush and return to your home in the north-west.
  • Get the Shalebridge Gate Key from your bedroom closet.
  • Get to the Shalebridge Gate and use the Key to escape.
  • Do not kill anyone.

Reaching Home Walkthrough:

  1. Run west, then north, past two walking women, then east, past two stationary guards.
  2. Pickpocket the broadheads from the back of the guard in front of the Crippled Burrick Pub.
  3. Inside the Pub, find a crumpled note from Morgan.
  4. Go to where the women are talking and use the box to mantle up onto the garden area.
  5. Collect two water arrows and a moss arrow.
  6. Two guards are below; one can be pickpocketed for more arrows.
  7. Make your way along the southernmost streets, avoiding or blackjacking any guards, until you come to a sewer entrance in the corner immediately east of Helena Way (south) and south-east of Whipple Street.
  8. West of the sewer entrance, climb the stairs to find a CUP and a STACK OF COINS (30/0/0|30), as well as a note.
  9. Run down the alley leading north from the sewer hatch corner, then turn right and run directly east, across the south half of the Marketplace, avoiding the guard on the bridge.
  10. Leave the Marketplace by the south-east corner and go up the little staircase leading upwards.
  11. At the top of the stairs, on the floor, is a BAG OF GOLD worth 50 GOLD (80/0/0|80).
  12. Return to the sewer hatch.
  13. Go down the sewer and follow the tunnel until it exits to a north-south waterway.
  14. Follow the waterway as it turns left/west.
  15. Look for a BAG OF GOLD (280/0/0|280) halfway along an elevated underwater platform, under the big isome sign on the wall above you.

  • It is far easier to approach Evidence Storage from Warden Affairs.
  • Shoot out any torches to make it easier to bypass the two Watchers in the ceiling.
  • Close the iron door behind you after entering Evidence Storage.
  • Close the vault door behind you with the lever inside.
  • Leave via the Warden Affairs secret ladder.
  • Make sure you are in Hagen's Office when dropping the STRONGBOX.
  • The easiest way to escape is down the stairs immediately left of Hagen's Office.
  • Avoid or blackjack any guards when making your way along the southernmost streets.
  • If you need more direction for the second BAG OF GOLD, it's immediately under the big isome sign on the wall above you, with the three lit torches.
