Part 28

Complete walkthrough for Part 28 of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, covering the final Stray Fairies in Great Bay Temple and the boss battle against Gyorg.

Head through the northwestern tunnel to the waterwheel room. Go to the bottom and enter the southeastern tunnel with the green pipe. In the next room, walk on the ground and look up under the center platform to see a fairy in a bubble. Surface, go onto the eastern green pipe, remove the Zora Mask, and look under the middle platform. Wielding the bow, shoot an arrow to pop the bubble. Put on the Great Fairy Mask to collect Stray Fairy [14/15].

Put the Zora Mask back on and dive to the bottom. Go to the northwestern portion of the room and look up and slightly north to see another fairy in a bubble. Use the boomerang attack to free it, then put on the Great Fairy Mask to obtain the last Stray Fairy [15/15].

Walk to the top of the green pipe. The path leads to another valve. Turn it to activate a water jet. Jump onto the jet and ride it up. On the next platform, use the Boss Key to go through the door.

Great Bay Temple - Boss: Gyorg

Enter the room and go up the lengthy shaft to face the boss battle against the massive Masked Fish, Gyorg.

Strategy:

1. Head to the central platform. Gyorg will likely jump out of the water to attack you; dodge quickly. If you are at the edge, Gyorg may ram the platform, knocking you into the water. If you fall in, Gyorg will attempt to swallow and spit you out for significant damage.
2. Target Gyorg with masks off. Follow him and pull out your Bow. Aim a regular arrow at his head, leading your shot slightly as he is a moving target.
3. After a few hits to the head, his eyeball will pop out. Jump into the water as a Zora and use your Barrier Attack to deal damage.
4. Return to the platform and repeat steps 2 and 3 three times.
5. Afterwards, Gyorg will break the platform, initiating a Zora-only fight. Gyorg will first release small fish; use your Barrier Attack to defeat them and replenish health.
6. Mines will appear across the area, with a Zora Egg in the middle of the chain. Approach Gyorg so he starts pulling water in, attempting to eat you. Fight against the current, lock onto the Zora Egg of a mine, and attack it. Gyorg will eat the mine, exposing his eyeball.
7. Repeat this process three times to defeat Gyorg.

After the battle, collect the Heart Container and Gyorg's Remains from the circle of light.

Zora Cape / Hall

After finishing the Great Bay Temple, you will be warped back to Zora Cape. The turtle will mention returning to hibernation. Put on the Zora Mask and head to Zora Hall. Inside, go to the main area, then up the path and right. Speak with Lulu on the raised platform in the center. After a scene, leave Zora Hall.

Back in Zora Cape, jump into the water and head east.
