The Tunnels section of The Last of Us Part II on Seattle Day 1 presents several challenges and hidden collectibles. This guide will help you find artifacts, trading cards, and the workbench, as well as navigate your first encounter with Shamblers. Be prepared for combat and careful exploration.

• Key Locations and Items:
  • Subway Note (Artifact 1/5): After a long sequence, you will enter a red room. Following this, Ellie and Dina will lock themselves in a train due to a clicker. At the very end of this line of carriages, on the wall to the left of the locked door, you will find the Subway Note pinned up.
  • The Imp (Trading Card 1/3): After exiting and crawling under the train car, look for a destroyed train car at the far end of the tunnel. There is a red room on the right; walk past it to the train and search along the bottom of the car to find The Imp card under the side door.
  • Workbench (1/1): From the red room, walk forward and take a right to climb a ladder. Once up the ladder, take another right and open the door to find the Workbench.
  • Shambler Entry (Journal Entry 1/1): After some crawling, you will drop down into your first encounter with Shamblers. You must clear this area for Ellie to make a journal entry about them. Ellie will be prompted with a journal entry icon above one of the bodies. Fighting them where you drop down can be advantageous, as they may be unable to climb up.
  • Dr Daniela Star (Trading Card 2/3): After defeating the Shamblers, head through the lifted gate to leave the area. On the other side, proceed down the tunnel.
