The 'Packing Up' chapter in The Last of Us Part II marks a significant narrative point where Ellie prepares for her journey. This guide is fully compatible with The Last of Us Part II Remastered, released for PC on April 3, 2025. This section includes several key collectibles and a story-related weapon pickup.

Jackson: Packing Up Collectibles

This chapter contains 1 Artifact, 2 Journal Entries, and 1 Weapon.

• Journal Entry: 1/2 (Owl Mug): After regaining control of Ellie, enter the house and proceed to the kitchen on the first floor. Near the sink, you will find a large mug with an owl design. Interact with it to sketch it in your journal.
• Journal Entry: 2/2 (Joel's Guitar): Head upstairs to Joel's workshop, which is the first room you encounter after climbing the stairs. On the desk to the right as you enter, there is a long workbench with his guitar. Interact with the guitar to sketch it.
• Artifact: 1/1 (Joel’s Watch): This artifact is unmissable. Enter Joel's bedroom, the last room at the end of the stairs. On the bed, you will find a small red box. Ellie will retrieve a watch from it.
• Weapon: 1/1 (Revolver): This weapon is story-related and unmissable. It is acquired alongside Joel's watch from the red box in Joel's bedroom. This adds the Revolver to Ellie's arsenal, bringing her total weapons to 3 out of 6. The other two starting weapons are the Semi-Auto Pistol and the Bolt-Action Rifle. Ellie has 3 more weapons to find, with one being another automatic, unmissable pickup. Abby also has 6 weapons, totaling 12 for the 'High Caliber' achievement.

Acquiring a weapon upgrade will unlock the 'Tinkerer' achievement.
