The Bank — The Last of Us Part II Walkthrough

Complete The Last of Us Part II walkthrough section at Westlake Bank, collecting the Bank Heist Plans artifact and the Pump Shotgun.

The Westlake Bank is a key location in the open area of The Last of Us Part II, offering valuable collectibles and a powerful weapon. Located on the left side of the large open field, this southwest building on the downtown map holds an artifact, a safe, and Ellie's first Pump Shotgun. Prepare for infected encounters as you navigate its ruins.

To access the bank, enter its ruins and drop down into the entrance. Be cautious, as infected lurk within. Once inside, proceed to the safety deposit room at the back of the bank.

• Artifact: 2/18 - Bank Heist Plans: As you enter the safety deposit room, look for a bag near a corpse. This bag contains the "Bank Heist Plans" artifact.
• Safe: 1/3 - Bank Vault: To the left of the safety deposit room is a large metal door, which is the bank vault. The code for this safe is 60-23-06, found on the "Bank Heist Plans" artifact you just collected.
• Weapon: 1/1 - Pump Shotgun: After opening the vault, you will find a corpse with its head blown off directly in front of you. Pick up the Pump Shotgun from this corpse. This adds the shotgun to Ellie's arsenal, bringing her weapon count to 4/6. If you miss it here, enemies using shotguns may drop it later.
• Artifact: 3/18 - Bank Robber Letter: While still in the vault room, locate the counter next to the guard where you picked up the Pump Shotgun. A note, the "Bank Robber Letter," is on this counter.
• Artifact: 4/18 - Antique Ring: In the back right corner of the vault, behind a money cart, you will find the "Antique Ring" artifact.
