Navigating the fast-paced combat of THE FINALS requires constant awareness of your surroundings and your team's status. The game provides several on-screen indicators that convey crucial information about your own condition, your teammates, and even enemy presence. Understanding these indicators is vital for making informed decisions and reacting effectively to the ever-changing battlefield.

Player Status Indicators

These indicators provide immediate feedback on your own character's state and capabilities.

• Health Bar: Located at the bottom center of your screen, this bar displays your current health. It depletes as you take damage and regenerates over time or through healing.
• Shield/Armor Indicator: If you have active shields or armor, a separate indicator will show its remaining durability.
• Ability Cooldowns: Icons for your Specialization and Gadgets will display cooldown timers, showing when they will be ready for use again.
• Ammo Count: Your current ammunition for your equipped weapon is displayed, usually in the bottom right corner.
• Status Effects: Icons might appear to indicate if you are affected by status effects like burning, slowing, or blinding.

Team Status Indicators

These indicators help you keep track of your teammates, even when they are off-screen.

• Teammate Health Bars: Located at the top of your screen, these bars show the current health of your teammates. They are color-coded to match your team's color.
• Teammate Location Pings: Teammates can place pings on the map or in the world to communicate enemy locations, objectives, or points of interest.
• Downed Teammates: A distinct icon will appear on your HUD, often with an arrow pointing towards their location, when a teammate is downed.
• Revive Progress: If a teammate is actively reviving another downed player, this might be indicated on the HUD.

Enemy Indicators

While direct enemy spotting is crucial, the game also provides subtle cues to help you detect threats.

• Hit Markers: When you land a shot on an enemy, a visual marker will appear, often indicating the location of the hit and the damage dealt.
• Damage Direction Indicators: Arrows or visual cues will appear on the edge of your screen to show the direction from which you are taking damage.
• Sound Cues: Footsteps, gunfire, and ability activations all provide auditory clues to enemy presence and location.
• Objective Indicators: Icons for Vaults, Cashout Stations, and other objectives will clearly show their status and which team is interacting with them.
