While eliminating opponents is a part of THE FINALS, the ultimate goal is to secure cash-outs and win the match. Effective objective play involves understanding the flow of the game, prioritizing targets, and coordinating with your team to achieve victory.

Understanding the Cash-Out Cycle:

• Initiating a Cash-Out: When a vault opens, your team needs to secure the cash box and bring it to an available cash-out station. This is a high-risk, high-reward action.
• Defending a Cash-Out: Once a cash-out is initiated, your team must defend it from enemy teams until the timer runs out. This often involves fortifying positions and repelling assaults.
• Contesting a Cash-Out: If an enemy team is successfully cashing out, your team needs to engage them, eliminate them, and steal the cash box to initiate your own cash-out.

Prioritizing Objectives:

Not all cash-out stations are created equal. Pay attention to:

• Proximity: Which stations are closest and easiest to reach?
• Contested Status: Are other teams already fighting over a station? Sometimes it's better to let them weaken each other before engaging.
• Team Composition: If your team has strong defensive capabilities (Heavy builds, Barricades), you might be better suited to defending a station. If you have fast flankers (Light builds), you might focus on initiating new cash-outs.

Strategies for Initiating Cash-Outs:

• Coordinated Push: The most effective way to initiate is with a coordinated push. Use abilities like the Heavy Shield or Goo Grenades to create cover and advance as a unit.
• Distraction and Flank: One or two You can create a distraction on one side of the objective while the rest of the team flanks and secures the cash box.
• Speed is Key: Especially with Light builds, quickly grabbing the cash box and heading to the nearest station can catch enemies off guard.

Strategies for Defending Cash-Outs:

• Fortification: Utilize Barricades, Goo Grenades, and the environment itself to create strong defensive positions.
• Area Denial: Use explosives or area-of-effect abilities to make it difficult for enemies to approach the cash-out station.
• Holding Angles: Position yourselves to cover all potential entry points and angles of attack.
• Communication: Constantly call out enemy positions and movements to your teammates.

Dealing with Multiple Teams:

In a three-team scenario, you'll often find yourself caught between two other teams. Use this to your advantage. Let other teams engage each other first, then swoop in to pick off the survivors or steal the cash box. Be aware of your surroundings and avoid getting caught in a crossfire.

Adaptability:

The best objective players are adaptable. If your initial strategy isn't working, be ready to change tactics. If a cash-out station is too heavily defended, consider abandoning it and focusing on another.
