In this large scene, Suzu will take you to the village's chief, Ranzo. There will be some fun cutscenes of Cress falling into a trap and then a scene in the baths where Chester gets hit by a bucket Arche throws. After this, the chief tells you that Dhaos has been brainwashing ninjas to join him, and Suzu's parents have gone missing. The chief asks you to look for them near Euclid village. After the scene, you will get the Muramasa, a sword for Cress; equip it.

If you go back to the left side of the Dojo, you will find the baths and can restore your HP and TP by going inside the water. Go back out from the baths and you will find a painter with a "..." dialogue box. This painter will sell you a painting for 30,000 Gald. If you sell it at Elven Village, you can sell it for 49,500 Gald, making a profit. You can redo this as many times as you want, but you can only carry one painting at a time, meaning you can't buy another until you have sold the one you have.

Now, let's get a weapon for Mint! Go left of the Ninja Village to get to the woods (they are different from the Treant Forest one, even though they look the same). Go all the way left and then down to find a treasure chest containing the BC Rod for Mint; equip it. Now go all the way to the east exit of the village, and go east as well until you change screens. You will find a treasure chest containing the Flare Tornado Spell for Arche.

In here, you can find some unique items such as the Japanese Apple and the Oden. We will do the quest for Oden later, but you can buy lots of Japanese Apples. They sell them at the store just south of the village. If you can buy 15 and fill your food bag, do it again until you reach 22,000. Then buy 15 to have in stock.

The next step of the side quest involves the Coliseum, and it is not an easy task. I'd recommend waiting until you have the Eternal Sword to make it easier.
