• Weaknesses: None

Phases:

1. Fight both Hammer Bros simultaneously.
2. After one is defeated, the remaining Hammer Bro will likely use Valor Up, increasing its defenses by 50%.

Strategy:

• Since you only have Mario, focus on using his Jump Special Ability and Items.
• The Jump Special Attack can deal significant damage, chunking about half of one Bro's HP.
• Timed attacks during normal physical hits can also increase damage and hit the second Bro slightly.
• Both the Hammer Attack and Hammer Time Special Attack are blockable. For Hammer Time, you only need to press the button once to defend against all four mini hammers. Perfect blocking can negate all damage.
• Hammer Time can deal a lot of damage, so timing your block is crucial.
• Keep your HP above 15 HP, as Hammer Time can hit for up to 12 damage, potentially leaving you vulnerable to being one-shot by the second Bro.
• Use Mushroom Items to heal if needed. Toad likely gave you some earlier in the game.
• When one Hammer Bro is defeated, the other will almost always use Valor Up. This increases its Physical and Magic Defense by 50%, slowing down your damage output with physical attacks.
• Save some FP for at least one Jump attack against the second, buffed Hammer Bro, as it will still do decent damage even when halved.
• The Hammer Bros have 100 HP total.
