Speardovich Seaside Boss Guide

Learn how to defeat Speardovich in Super Mario RPG (2023). This guide covers Speardovich's attacks, stats, weaknesses, and the best party setup for victory.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• HP: 1338
• Weaknesses: Lightning
• Resistances: Poison, Mute, Sleep, Fear

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Initial Assault
   Speardovich uses Pierce, Will-O-Wisp, Flame Stone, and Water Blast. Keep your HP above 60% with Peach's healing.
2. Phase 2: Mirage Attack
   Speardovich uses Mirage Attack, creating a clone. Use Mallow's Thought Peek to identify the real Speardovich. Focus attacks on the real one.
3. Phase 3: Low Health Barrage
   When Speardovich is low on health, it may use Meteor Blast, a powerful group attack. Continue healing and attacking the real Speardovich.

Strategy:

• Party Recommendation: Mario, Mallow, Peach. Aim for level 11-13.
• Mallow's Role: Use Shocker to exploit Speardovich's lightning weakness, dealing significant damage. Use Thought Peek to identify the real Speardovich during Mirage Attack.
• Peach's Role: Use Group Hug to heal the party, especially after Water Blast or Meteor Blast. Use Honey/Maple Syrups to restore FP if needed.
• Mario's Role: Use timed regular attacks to conserve FP for Mallow and Peach.
• Special Moves: If your party gauge is full, consider Bowser's Clown Car Barrage Triple Move. If multiple party members are downed, use Healing Rainbow.
• Dealing with Mirage Attack: Use Mallow's Thought Peek on the clones. If the response is not “Can they tell I’m a fake?”, it is the real Speardovich.
• Rewards: 40 Exp, 50 Coins, Star Piece. After the battle, find the Shed Key to free villagers and receive a Flower Box or Flower Jar from the Elder.
