- 1Waterfall Section: Swim down the waterfall, moving side-to-side to collect standard and Frog Coins. Pressing 'A' up to three times consecutively can give you a slight height boost to reach coins. The second cave on the left path yields a Flower Tab, the second on the right path costs 5 coins, the third on the left path contains a Frog Coin, and the third near the bottom of the left path gives a Flower Tab.
- 2Barrel Jumping Section: Jump from barrel to barrel, strategically choosing paths with more coins. If a barrel's path offers more coins than the adjacent one, stay on your current barrel to collide and take the better route. Jump to a new barrel as you approach it if its path is more lucrative.
- 3Avoiding Obstacles: Fish swim up and down the river. Those swimming up are easy to avoid. If a fish approaches from behind, move to the opposite side of the river to dodge it. Being hit by a fish results in a loss of 5 coins.
- The Toad at the end of the course will tally your collected coins.
- Accumulate 80 coins to exchange for one Froggy Coin.
- The first time you gather 60 coins, you receive a bonus of 10 coins.
- Collecting all 100 coins on the course rewards you with 30 Froggy Coins.
