The Floating Islands are a series of interconnected landmasses suspended high above the main Aetherium Expanse. This area is characterized by its verticality and the constant threat of falling. Mastery of your jetpack and understanding enemy patrol routes are paramount here.

Key Strategies:

• Jetpack Management: Your jetpack is your lifeline. Conserve fuel by making short bursts rather than continuous flight. Look for updrafts, often indicated by swirling light blue particles, which can replenish your fuel quickly.
• Environmental Awareness: Many islands have destructible cover. Use it wisely, but be prepared for it to be destroyed by heavy enemy fire. Some islands also feature wind tunnels that can push you off course or provide a quick traversal if timed correctly.
• Sniper Nests: Watch out for "Sky-Eye" snipers perched on distant, higher islands. Prioritize eliminating them with long-range weapons or by flanking them using lower island pathways.
• Gravity Grenades: These grenades, often dropped by "Void-Drifter" enemies, can pull you off islands. If hit, immediately activate your jetpack and try to boost back to solid ground.
