Piece of Cake Mission Walkthrough

Accept the quest from Squint in the Old Mill (Map Marker).

Exit the Old Mill and head northwest towards a house.

Inside the house, go down the hole in the center and follow the tunnel. Be prepared for combat.

You will be attacked by an invisible mutant. To defeat it, wait for it to approach, then shoot buckshot at its face. It will briefly retreat, allowing you to heal. Repeat this process until it is defeated. You can see a translucent outline of the mutant to help locate it.

After defeating the mutant, explore the cave for loot on nearby corpses.

Proceed south to a room filled with toxic pools. Navigate around these pools to the back of the cave.

Locate a large rock near the western tunnel. Equip your Echo Detector and search around the rock until the artifact materializes.

Pick up the artifact.

Exit the cave via the western tunnel and climb the ladder.

Return to Squint in the Old Mill. He will be near the entrance.

Hand over the artifact to Squint.
