Answers Come at a Price Mission Walkthrough

Get to the Detention Center: From your entry point in the Garbage region, head east towards the Detention Center. You can optionally detour to the Garbage Camp for loot and potential gun upgrades. Beware of Bleeding-inducing Anomalies on the main path. Upon arrival, deal with a pack of rabid dogs before entering the northern doors. Ascend two flights of stairs to meet Star.

Go Down to the Laboratory: Star will direct you to the X-18 Lab (Map Marker) northwest of your location. He also offers the 'The Road to Salvation' side mission to rescue his man. You'll receive a Silenced PTM pistol and the lab's entry code: 2605. Loot the area before proceeding.

Entering the Factory and The Road to Salvation: Upon reaching the Factory, choose your approach: direct assault or stealth. For stealth, find a hole in the wall northeast of the exterior and use pipes to climb to an upper level. Sneak past Ward soldiers, use melee to break a locked door, and free Star's man. He'll mention documents in the lab's basement. Return to the entrance, descend to the ground floor, and take the stairs to the basement. Be prepared for potential soldiers. Use the code 2605 to enter the lab.

Find Information About Nestor: Inside the X-18 Lab, proceed down the stairs and loot available ammo and health boxes. Continue down broken stairs to the basement. You'll find a body, indicating danger. Equip a powerful weapon like a Shotgun. After passing a bathroom with Medkits, enter the door on your right. You will be attacked by a Bloodsucker. Use the bathroom room for cover and defeat it with your Shotgun.

Proceed to the Tape Recorder: After defeating the Bloodsucker, you have two paths. The door on the right leads to a tape recorder with Nestor's information. Take this path.
