Chasing Ghosts Mission Walkthrough

Your objective is to reach Azimuth Station, located southeast of Noontide Base. Follow the route off Wild Island towards the southeastern part of the region.

As you approach Azimuth Station, you will intercept a distress transmission from the Ward.

To enter Azimuth Station, find a hole in the northwest wall.

Head into the building where the distress signal originated. Loot the bodies for supplies.

Outside this building, stairs lead down. Search the body at the top of these stairs to find a key.

Use this key to open the door at the bottom of the stairs and enter the basement.

Navigate the basement, taking a right at the intersection. You will encounter brainwashed enemies in a room; use the doorway for cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) to engage them safely.

After clearing the room, proceed through the opposite doorway into another tunnel. Deal with the final group of enemies and search the body at the far end to obtain the Keycard and find a ladder to exit the building.

Once outside, Foma will fire at you from atop a tower. Ignore him for now and head towards the tower entrance. Warning: The tower is rigged with traps.

Enter the tower and proceed through the door on your right. You will encounter a tripwire; disarm it or hop over it.

In the main room, insert the Azimuth Access Key into the card reader to give Strider access to Azimuth’s systems.

Proceed to the roof to replace the Inductor. You will encounter multiple tripwires on the stairs leading up; disarm them or move out of the room to avoid damage.

As you near the top of the stairs, Foma will attack. Use cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) and fire back to defeat him.

Speak with the injured Foma. His fate is sealed, so put him out of his misery.

Install the new Inductor.

Exit the room and climb to the antenna to listen to the transmission. This reveals Faust as the mastermind and reveals Camp Icarus as your next destination, completing the mission and starting 'Dead Frequency'.
