King of the Hill Mission Walkthrough

Start the Mission: Progress through the main missions in Garbage until you reach the 'Deal with the Devil' mission. Meet the Kingpin, Varan, who tasks you with eliminating one of his competitors or paying him 20,000 Coupons. Agree to his task to proceed.

Choose Your Target: You have the option to kill the Shah, kill Roosevelt, kill both, or refuse the task. Killing either target offers unique loot and progresses Varan's objective.

If you completed 'No Honor Among Thieves' and kept Docent alive, you might have 'Shah’s Mate,' which grants access.

Show 'Shah’s Mate' to the guard at the entrance of 'The Brood' to gain passage through the bar without conflict.

Confront the Shah. If your objective is his PDA, choose the attack option and use a shotgun for a quick kill.

Loot the Shah's PDA and any other valuable items.

Escape by jumping out the window near the Shah's room, following the pipes to the left, and sprinting away from 'The Brood.'

Assist Borodulin in hunting hogs and mutants.

After the hunt, agree to be his 'prey.' Hide from him by using an object to break line of sight until he gives up.

Borodulin will reveal that you can enter the Commissary (where Roosevelt resides) via pipes.

Travel to the Commissary, north of the Slag Heap.

Enter the Commissary via the northern entrance, head east to find toilets, and use the pipes behind them to enter.

Follow the pipes upwards to an open window.

Enter through the window, drop to the platform below, and proceed west.
