Unlock all Sonic, Shadow, and Silver actions, town missions, and S Ranks in Sonic the Hedgehog. Details on Battle and Tag modes.

• To unlock all Sonic actions, you must have bought all Sonic upgrades.
• To unlock all Shadow actions, you must have bought all Shadow upgrades.
• To unlock all Silver actions, you must have bought all Silver upgrades.
• To clear all Sonic TOWN Missions, you must complete them.
• To clear all Shadow TOWN Missions, you must complete them.
• To clear all Silver TOWN Missions, you must complete them.
• To achieve Rank S on all Sonic Town Missions, you must achieve Rank S on them.
• To achieve Rank S on all Shadow Town Missions, you must achieve Rank S on them.
• To achieve Rank S on all Silver Town Missions, you must achieve Rank S on them.

Two-player Modes:

Battle Mode: This is a split-screen competition game for two players requiring a second controller. The objective is to reach the Goal Ring before your opponent. You can choose to play in Wave Ocean, Dusty Desert, White Acropolis, Crisis City, Flame Core, Kingdom Valley, or Aquatic Base. You select one of the main characters and use techniques to damage opponents and collect dropped Rings. If damaged with no Rings, players are repositioned to where they last touched a Point Marker (a marker indicating a safe spot).

Tag Mode: This is a cooperative two-player game requiring a second controller. Players select main characters and work together to collect Chaos Emeralds. Act Stages are designed so that characters must assist each other. You can select TAG STORY to start or continue a game, or TAG TRAIL to retry cleared Stages. Each player collects their own Rings, but lives are shared. If one player loses a life, they restart from the nearest passed Point Marker. If there are no remaining lives, the game ends for both players. Teamwork is essential for critical areas, often involving destroying enemies or hitting switches to advance.

Audio Room: Unlockable songs are available in the Extras Menu by beating the Episodes. These include themes for Sonic, Shadow, Silver, Elise, and remixes of "Sweet Dream 06" and "Sweet Sweet Sweet 06". Various Act, Boss, Town, and Other music tracks can also be unlocked.

Theater Room: Unlockable movies are available in the Extras Menu by beating the four Episodes. Sonic's Episode unlocks movies such as "The Soleanna Festival," "Sonic Rescues Elise," and "Showdown with Eggman." Shadow's Episode unlocks movies like "Shadow's infiltration," "The resurrection of Mephiles," and "Shadow remains in the future."
