The Frozen City: Part 2

Continue your Rise of the Tomb Raider journey through the Frozen City. Find collectibles, acquire new gear, and survive a brutal ambush by Deathless Soldiers.

Alright, you've made it through the first gate and are now at the 'Citadel Plaza' Base Camp. With that destroyed gate behind you, look straight ahead for a horse statue. Head up the stairs to its right, and you'll find a Statue you can destroy – that's Vandal 05/08. Now, go back behind the horse statue, over by a blocked door on the far wall, and you'll find a Mural (it's 03/03 - Greek). Head back to the campfire, and to its left, on a stone railing, there's another Statue for Vandal 06/08.

Next, make your way towards the objective marker, which is at the gate to the west. As you get close to the stairs that have those two horse statues flanking them, look up at the roof of the building above the left-hand horse. You should spot another Statue up there – Vandal 07/08.

Keep going up those stairs. A scene will trigger, and Lara will get some new Gear: Armor-Piercing Arrows. Sweet!

Objective: Survive the ambush

As soon as that scene wraps up, get ready because you're about to be swarmed by Deathless Soldiers. This is a pretty tough fight with a lot of enemies, both melee and ranged, so you'll need to be on your toes. They'll come at you in waves, and you won't be able to move on until every last one of them is down.

Your main strategy here should be to keep moving constantly to dodge the archers' fire, while you focus on shooting down the melee guys chasing you. If you start getting overwhelmed by the sheer number of enemies, try to lure them towards the vessels of Greek Fire in the middle of the area and shoot them as they run past. Honestly, don't hold back on your ammo or special arrows for this fight; use whatever you need to get through it.

Once you've cleared out all the enemies, you'll finally be able to proceed.
